Arsenal’s victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield final makes the Gunners goalkeeper Petr Cech, optimistic that his team has the power to compete in the Premier League.

Arsenal won 4-1 in a penalty shootout in a match at Wembley Stadium, London, Sunday (06/08/2017).

Previously, both teams drew 1-1 at normal time.

According to Cech, his team’s performance has proven the strength of their squad.

“We played without a lot of core players, but this game shows all Arsenal players ready to compete to be a starter,” said Cech.

The Czech keeper gave an example of the presence of Sead Kolasinac who appeared to replace Per Mertesacker.
